Although they differ from the color and style of the dishes used in the First Class dining room and ala cart restaurant, our theory is that the dark blue and gold style (which was part of the kitchen inventory) was a smaller collection designed and used exclusively by Captain E.J. Smith for private parties. The set is accompanied by matching salt and pepper shakers and tea pots.
The silverware (which is not Titanic design - we found the original quite plain) consists of of 12 pieces per diner along with 4 crystal glasses. Additional glassware includes champagne glasses, aperitif (port, sherry) and tumblers - many with the White Star Line image.
There are two White Star Line flower vases.
